Sept 26th I wake up to the news that my beautiful mother died. Sept 30th I received a phone call from the man I have been speaking to for some years now, Charles Manson. I left a message that I wanted to interview Manson two weeks prior; with no idea he would contact me so soon for it. Being the state I was in due to my mother’s death, I was not even ready for Charlie. I had two questions people told me they wanted me to ask him, the rest of the “interview” fell into pure conversation. It always happens that way when I attempt a so-called “interview” with the icon of “crazy” by the standards of society. The conversation you hear falls into a variety of ranges from emotions, laughter to silence. I hope to see the man soon if this documentary in the making goes well; that’s where the fun will really happen! Can you imagine me face to face with old Charlie? Grins From Below…

I am so glad I came across this in the bulletins on myspace you posted. This has single handedly made my day (technically). I am a huge supporter of Charlie. I’ve wrote him not too long ago yet forgot to put an extra envelope in there /w/ a stamp so he could write back. I’m glad to hear his perspective on things now that their are no recent interviews anywhere & this was the last thing I expected to see posted or hear & thank you! I’d love to meet the man & just talk anything /w/ him. My girlfriend was visiting in CA & brought me back dirt from Cielo drive. It’s still crazy to know I own something from history (technically) like that. But I’m afraid that may be the closest I will get to the man.
CONGRATS ON YOUR INTERVIEW HON. LUV YA!
Im sure you had good intentions of course, but it was terribly prepared, with awful questions. I lost my mother as well, i understand.
First of all great work on the web site. I have been watching since you started. As a fellow interviewer I have to say the interview eventually gets going, however who ever did the interview could be a bit more professional and prepared.
I think its a great conversation and something that you don’t run into on a normal basis. You don’t need to be prepared to have a conversation. I feel that what we are hearing is something more on a personal level. It’s obvious the two have some kind of friendship, Thanks for posting.
NOTE: This was meant to be an interview but I was so lost with my mothers death that I only had those 2 questions that were not even mine..but what someone told me to ask him..THIS IS more personal than interview…I was not prepared..yet who is when Charles calls? I always get butterflies when he does…non the less…This is something ALOT of people get to do…and that is JUST speak to Charles..Manson called me not knowing about my moms death…As for interview…I only have 15 mins to speak with him on each call…so TRUST me..the first question would take those 15 mins or at least 10 mins for him to answer…I dont think I could ever really “interview” him…I do not feel I have to at this moment with what we have is enough with me…
correction: This is something NOT A LOT of people get to do.
